How to choose the right size
The size of a hub centric ring depends on two measurements:
- Wheel center bore — the inner diameter of the hole in the center of your alloy wheel (= outer diameter of the ring)
- Car hub diameter — the outer diameter of your car's wheel hub (= inner diameter of the ring)
For example: if your wheel center bore is 73.1 mm and your car's hub is 57.1 mm, you need a hub centric ring 73.1 ➜ 57.1.

Installation — step by step
Installing hub centric rings is quick and easy. No special tools required — just follow these steps:
- Lift the car — use a floor jack and secure with a jack stand. Remove the wheel.
- Clean the hub surface — wipe the hub with a cloth to remove any dirt or rust. The ring needs to slide on smoothly.
- Insert the ring into the wheel — push the hub centric ring into the center bore of your alloy wheel. Make sure it sits flush and even.
- Mount the wheel — slide the wheel (with the ring) onto the hub. The ring should center the wheel perfectly on the hub.
- Tighten the bolts — hand-tighten the lug bolts in a star pattern, then torque to your car's specification.
Tips
- If the ring feels too tight on the hub, lightly sand the hub surface with fine emery cloth
- Hub centric rings should fit snugly — a small amount of resistance is normal
